Surface Go - Zoom Meetings

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Surface Go for work purposes. 

I am wanting to use Zoom Meetings however when I try start/ join a meeting the computer wants me to run it through an application. When I search for an application, nothing comes up.

I have tried downloading "Teams" to then link with my Zoom account, and run Zoom through this application.

I have managed to link the account, however when I try start/ join a meeting, the same request comes up, asking me to run Zoom through another application.

Does anyone have any experience with using Zoom on a Surface Go at all? Is it doable?

Thank you for your response.

It seems that there is no Zoom app available in the Microsoft Store app and I don't think you can use Microsoft Teams as the app to run for Zoom meetings. You may consider using the Zoom web client which works with the new Microsoft Edge and doesn't require switching out of S mode or if you need more advanced features you may need to switch out of S mode for you to install and run the Zoom app on your Surface Go if necessary.

Microsoft - how quickly can you arrange for the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app to be available from the Microsoft Store. Zoom is essential, but I also do not want to leave S Mode. 

This is up to the app developer (Zoom), not Microsoft. Zoom has to create a
compatible app and get it certified by the Store.

    I think you are right that the Surface 2 is too old since it runs on Windows RT.  Not sure if RT will get the new Edge.

    My Surface Go is is running Windows 10 S-mode.  The new Edge can install on Windows 10 S-mode.

    I'm not very technical, bought a tablet to use when I travel.  My desktop, as I've mentioned before, doesn't have a camera or microphone, so I thought my Surface would work for Zoom.

    Although I'm not technical, I can follow instructions and did try Oscar_068's advice.  Response: "This app can't run on your PC."  I think my Surface is too old; it's a Surface 2

    Wish I could buy a tablet, but don't want to without being able to try it out in person.  Can't do that now!  But, I know what it won't be!

    Hi All.  this worked!!!!  download the newest version of edge at the link above and you can access zoom via the web client.
