Unable to load "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in Microsoft Store

I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Go for travel, and although I'm enjoying it thus far there is a need to switch out of S Mode to install one or two additional programs. I've followed all of the steps to reach the "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in the Microsoft Store, however, the page never loads. Instead, it shows a blank store screen. Is there any other method to reach this area of the store?

Additionally, I've tried prior to updating Windows and after updating Windows with no luck.

I have this issue as well with a newly purchased Surface Go.

After doing a recovery (Reset this PC) the MS Store was able to open the page for switching from Windows S to Windows 10 Home, but the page said to first update the MS Store app. After updating the app I now get a blank page again.

MS Store version after updating: 11906.1001.18.0

    Eventlog:

Failure invoking ms-windows-store://switchwindows/: action switchwindows not recognized

Error Code: Unknown HResult Error code: 0x80000000

    Function: InvokeUri

    Source: C:\BA\39\s\src\Core\ProtocolActions\ProtocolActionHandler.cs (108)

EXACTLY THE SAME ISSUE HERE IN THE UK.

I have a brand new Asus Vivobook running Windows 10 S - I have spent the last THREE DAYS trying to switch out of S Mode but just get a blank grey screen when the Microsoft Store opens up.

I have done EVERYTHING on the web and literally spent days doing so only to find this is a Microsoft Issue - that's really made me very angry for God's sake cant you at least put up a message saying "Switching out of S Mode is not currently available"

People like us do not have time to waste messing around trying to find solutions to problems CAUSED BY MICROSOFT.

    GET IT FIXED !

And when you search for "Switch out of S Mode" in the store it finds nothing but idiotic games - you cannot even search for software versions of windows.

No more "Oooh I'm so sorry" pathetic excuses and flimsy emails - just sort it out.

    NOW !!!!
