Unable to load "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in Microsoft Store

I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Go for travel, and although I'm enjoying it thus far there is a need to switch out of S Mode to install one or two additional programs. I've followed all of the steps to reach the "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in the Microsoft Store, however, the page never loads. Instead, it shows a blank store screen. Is there any other method to reach this area of the store?

Additionally, I've tried prior to updating Windows and after updating Windows with no luck.

I did finally see the "Switch out of S mode" banner

which informed me that my pc was NO LONGER OPERATING IN S MODE,

In fact, MS Store informs me that the Home version ALLOWS me to

"Install any app:  Install run apps from unknown and unverified sources. To

avoid malware, always download from a trusted source."

    ALL BETTER RIGHT?     WRONG!!!

I still can't complete the installation of Mozilla Firefox Web browser.

(It did now let me download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.)

I updated the Microsoft Store app to 12010.1001.2.0.

I still don't see any "Switch out of S mode" when I follow

the directions through Settings>Update & Security>Activation> Go to the store.

Quite frustrating. I had so many products that were not obtained through Microsoft Store that I now have no way of getting back to.
