I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Go for travel, and although I'm enjoying it thus far there is a need to switch out of S Mode to install one or two additional programs. I've followed all of the steps to reach the "Switch Out of S Mode" screen in the Microsoft Store, however, the page never loads. Instead, it shows a blank store screen. Is there any other method to reach this area of the store?
Additionally, I've tried prior to updating Windows and after updating Windows with no luck.

Thank you for your feedback. We have completed our investigation and have published an updated version of the Microsoft Store app which includes a fix for this issue. To install this update:
From the taskbar, open Microsoft Store. Select More ... > Downloads and updates > Get updates. Install available updates, including Microsoft Store version 11906.1001.24.0 (or later). For more help installing Microsoft Store updates, see Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store.

Yes.... had this issue since initial power up of a new Surface Go yesterday.
Incredibly frustrating.... bought the device as a compact alternative to a Pro 6. Just need Capture One & Chrome. All info at point of purchase showed switching out of S mode to be quick and easy... not the case.
If it's not sorted soon, guess it'll be going back as Unfit for Purpose.
So, I spoke to Microsoft Support today. Immediately the guy knew of the issue - It's a GLOBAL issue, affects devices across the Windows 10 S platform and...…

Well, in the short term I guess that it's a case of sticking with it. The form factor of the GO is ideal, but the limitation is such that when my father-in-law added me to the family account so I could use Office365 HOME, the GO refused to install Office from the link in the mail!!!!! I had to go into the App store to do it.
The sooner this butchered 10 S variant is taken out and shot, the better. It is languishing in pain.
I'm glad this thread exists so I know it's not just me. I bought a Surface Go yesterday and set everything up and then encountered this same problem. It would be discouraging if I had to start all over again. I like Surface/Microsoft products, but seriously it's always one thing or another.
