Surface Pro Duo Dual SIM

We all saw the unveil of the new Surface devices coming soon, right? I feel like the Surface Duo is tailor made for the on the go business professional who really can get everything done from their Surface Duo with its capabilities. The one thing that I'm sure it's missing is Dual SIM capabilities. What do you think? I have multiple phone numbers and carry two phones, both an iPhone Xs Max and Galaxy Note 8. I'd love to downsize that into 1 and have two SIM's in the Surface Duo.

Surface Duo has a physical Nano SIM. AT&T locked SKU will have eSIM disabled while the Open market SKU will support Dual SIM single available (physical SIM and eSIM) – so only one SIM for calls, texts, data can be active at one time.

    I do have a sim card and an e-sim both activated in my duo, that doesn't however make it a dual-sim phone where both sims are active simultaneously.

    I've been using dual sim phones for years and it is a great sacrifice for me to have to check my second sim every day to see if I have any missed calls and/or messages.

    I have now inserted one of my sim cards into an old windows phone because I need two phones.

    If the next version of the surface duo doesn't have true dual sim I'll have to settle for a galaxy z fold...

    Hi,

    I can tell that today, it only allows one sim to be active at a time, which is less than ideal. It must be a software limitation and i'm hoping they fix it soon. Really quite disappointed that this is the case.

    Gutted the surface is not supporting 2 sims. For me I need it for work and home. So until the surface supports this I will not be getting one 😢😢

    That 2 SIM cards are working at the same time. 

    Any idea how to enable it?
