Surface Pro 7 Overheating when charging

So I've purchased and exchanged 3 brand new surface pro 7s in the last 20 days from best buy because of this issue. Everytime I plugged in the charger, within 5 mins, the backside of the Surface pro 7 starts overheating to an uncomfortable temperature. This was the case for the last 2 Surface Pro 7s as well. Their respective lot number was 1945 and 1943. I'm beginning to wonder if this is an issue with this particular batch ... Is there any answers for this?

    I'm Running Surface Pro 7 - USB-C hub that connects external monitor. i dont really have an issue with temp. however maybe run Task Manager to see if anything in particular is running high?

    When you run it and dont see anything too weird, try loking at "more Details" section at the bottom left of that screen and going to "Startup" and see if anything is enabled that shouldnt be. that might help keep it down. lastly i assume you arent using cases with the tablets?

    Well I would if I could get past all the setup when you initially turn it on but I cant even get past that so idk what to do and my first post I had a typo It has a 10th gen i5

    After i got to thinking i was running version 1903 and windows has an update to 1909. I performed the update and restarted the computer. Since i have done this i have not had any overheating issues.

    I am facing the same issue with my Surface Pro 7, Windows 10 Home Edition Version 1909.

    It getting hot and freezes. I have to hard reboot by pressing the Power button manually. It happens everyday now. I noticed that it getting hot when i used graphics intensive apps such as Zoom, Webex, MS Teams VC etc...

    Any help or recommendation?

    I'm having the same issue as exactly desccribed by @KheirulMohamed. This is my corperate PC (Surface Pro 7) and the 3rd one because other two Surface Pro 6 too had the same issue. I'm utterly disappointed about Surface Pro expereince and next time, I will never go with Surface Pro.

    Hi Marrion, it has been unplugged for 4 hours. it is still very warm and I cannot get it to turn on. Should I put it in the freezer to cool it down
