Surface Pro 7 Overheating when charging

So I've purchased and exchanged 3 brand new surface pro 7s in the last 20 days from best buy because of this issue. Everytime I plugged in the charger, within 5 mins, the backside of the Surface pro 7 starts overheating to an uncomfortable temperature. This was the case for the last 2 Surface Pro 7s as well. Their respective lot number was 1945 and 1943. I'm beginning to wonder if this is an issue with this particular batch ... Is there any answers for this?

    Hi, i bought my Pro 7 (i5 , 256GB, black) a few days ago. Until its plugged in and it is charging the back gets very hot. After it is fully loaded it cools down very fast. During operation (youtubevideo 4K) no temperature problems. Then i find out, that the pro 7 with the original charger allways do fast charging, or on usb-c if the charger has more than 60W or so (read it on microsoft page). Now i plugged in a usb-c charger with 10W from my mobile phone and it is charging and cold!!! I write this on the device, and its only a little bit warm. So i cannot use the original charger, or i have temperature issues?! That s*#! Here in Germany i can give it back within 2 weeks, when i have ordered it online. I think i will send it back, to much money for such problems!

    -Thanks for Everyone Who Replied To As Above , Very Helpfull . I Have The Same Problem When Charging My New Surface Pro 7 That I Bought New Recently Oct ,2020 . It Gets Just ! A Little Bit To Hot For My Liking After Half An Hour's Charging So Guess what ! . I Bought A Mini Desktop Fan Just To Cool It Down A Little Bit ". This Works Wonders For Me Because I Can Switch The Daaann  Thing  "Off"  When I Feel Like It ? .  Big PC's Have Internal Fan's or Water Cooled Pipes To Cool It Down , So I Thought Outside The Box Might Help  . - ps I Love My Surface Pro 7 So Much Thankyou Microsoft , Well Worth Getting A Mini Desktop Fan , They Make Good Partners  AAAaaaaaahhhh ! .   Works Wonders For Me But Maybe Not everyone ................

    I also have the same problem. My SP 7 gets really hot when charging, and receive a BSOD restart with various stop code. But when I unplugged the charger and cool down a couple minutes after, no problem at all. Then I tried to plugged the charger again, after several minutes it gets very hot again and BSOD appeared again. Does this has something to do with the charger? Does everyone ever tried to use usb C charger from 3rd party brands such as Anker and RavPower?

    Not if dont mind "small" fires. Microsoft keeps selling this **** hardware and does not give a flying f#%k about their customers. Otherwise they would of pulled this unit off the market long ago and refunded everyone .

    I recieved my SP7 a week ago and when using an application while not plugged it it gets super hot. There are no other applications open, other than what I currently am using. What is the cause of this?  Should I be concerned?
