It's astonishing to see how long this has been going on, and not once has there been any kind of proper response or acknowledgement from MS. Never again!
Battery Drains While Shutdown
I have read many posts and made many attempts to correct this problem without any success.
I was traveling for 3 months and when I returned the battery was completely dead.
Also, each night since my return, the battery drains as much as 12% overnight while shutdown.
I have all MS updates but the problem continues.
Please advise.
THX! :)

2019-03-26T02:26:45+00:00 Hello,
Like so many others, my Surface Pro 4 battery drains while shut down. A full drain takes about two days after shut down and while disconnected from the power supply.
To shut down I choose 'Shut down' from the Windows 10 icon. I am not pressing the Power button.
I have run diagnostics, changed registry entries and tried many suggestions listed on the web. Still, the battery drains.
Is there a solution?

I want to use this open request to capture additional information. My laptop has been shutdown for 24hrs and I've just rebooted it to check how much battery remains. The battery indicator reads 67% charge remaining.

i've had a few replacement devices and if i leave it for a week, shutdown, the battery will be 0% which can't be good for it
