Battery Drains While Shutdown

I have read many posts and made many attempts to correct this problem without any success.

I was traveling for 3 months and when I returned the battery was completely dead.

Also, each night since my return, the battery drains as much as 12% overnight while shutdown.

I have all MS updates but the problem continues.

Please advise.

    What is your definition of "massive"? With Connected Standby, on battery, I've seen 1-2% per hour at times depending.. Your sleep study shows all in the green with no "offenders".

    Is Standby enabled?  In any case if you check your event logs you may be surprised by what you find in there while your OS was "shut down" or "hibernated" or otherwise "sleeping".

    Also you can use powercfg to find out what is going on...

    BING is not being very cooperative.  This result is actually about W8 but I believe the W10 functionality is essentially the same.

    Thank you Marby for assisting me.

    I do not know when the problem originally began, I can say for certain that I noticed the problem back in August of 2017.  I have performed the following but the problem still persists.

    1. Updated all MS Windows updates
    2. Downloaded and rand the Surface Diagnostic Toolkit on 14 Jan 2018.
    3. Tried turning off WiFi before shutting down
    4. Changed power settings to slow startup and shut down when closing lid or power button.

    Please advise.
