Yes -- I have already moved on to a Dell notebook. I am very, very, disappointed in Microsoft for the way they made the Surface, as well as other issues with Windows 10. They do not deserve any more of my money.
Battery Drains While Shutdown
I have read many posts and made many attempts to correct this problem without any success.
I was traveling for 3 months and when I returned the battery was completely dead.
Also, each night since my return, the battery drains as much as 12% overnight while shutdown.
I have all MS updates but the problem continues.
Please advise.
THX! :)

2019-10-27T15:56:08+00:00 Here I am after an upgrade to Windows 10 Pro v1903 18362.449 and ny battery still drains when SP4 shutdown. Connect Standby disabled. My SP4 has stopped being a portable and is now pretty much a desktop requiring a power cable on start up.

2019-09-26T05:35:46+00:00 In the past 2 years, it has not yet resolved. I bough the surface pro 4 with this issue. I wasted a lot of money.

2019-09-17T15:06:29+00:00 I had the same exact issue, the battery was draining even after I shutdown my surface pro 6. What I realized was that it was happening because I changed the power setting and made it so the laptop never sleeps either on power or on battery. Where I think is a bug that even after shutdown it behaves as if the machine is in sleep mode and it never stops the machine. So try resetting everything in power settings and keep lower time limits for sleep etc.
