Bluetooth Mouse lag

Recently bought the Surface Pro 128GB.

Having been annoyed by the temperament of the touchpad, I bought a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse.

What I've found is that, when copying data over a network, the bluetooth mouse begins to lag.

Using the touchpad/pen is unaffected.

Makes me wonder whether the Wireless NIC and Bluetooth Module are using the same bus and/or whether this is a known issue.

...I can't remember having this kind of problem with Win7 as well... OK, got a new notebook when I upgraded to Win8 so I can't tell if it's hardware or Software related... So if it's just "radio frequency related" why was that different with Win7?

Strange - on my Dell E5410 with Win7 I had no lag with the same BT-Mouse...

I'm pretty much in doubt that this is Surface or Marvel related... Having a Dell E6430 with Intel/Dell chipsets I see the lag as well...

I had the lag with my Surface Pro 128, and now with my Surface Pro 2 256. I was hoping my $1,000+ upgrade would resolve my issues with the 1st gen Surface.

They are NOT going to fix this, because they cannot. The Marvell adapter is ****.

I am so annoyed. I even hear audio cutting out over a Bluetooth Jambox when copying files over WiFi.

How could MS not fix this on the Pro 2.

And the TypeCover 2 is also buggy.

MS I love my Surface and I am spending thousands on them.

Please at least respond to the community here.

    Attention:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=38826

In the February2014SurfacePro2.zip Driver Package they downgraded the Driver Version from working 14.69.24049.160 (11/08/2013) back to bad version 14.69.24044.150 (09/19/2013)!

Only the February2014SurfacePro.zip Package has the latest WLAN and Bluetooth driver for the Surface2 included...

But remember: The Bluetooth Mouse Lag issue still exists with both versions!
