Ah, didn't know about the change of keyboard being a problem too. Is there any way to see the hardware id on that driver before installing the firmware update from 1/15/15? I didn't even have that driver listed until I did the firmware update. The device was purchased in Oct.

Prior to the attempted firmware update, it is just called "Device Firmware"...

If you open that up you can check the hardware ID.

Ah ok. So that's what it replaces. Good to know as that my convince me to try again at the Microsoft store.

Does it matter if Inver get the firmware update to install or not? I managed to today, but the yellow triangle was still there. Surface hub still didn't recognize the pen either, so I'm assuming it doesn't matter if the firmware update takes or not.

If the yellow exclamation is still there, then the firmware did not install successfully.
