Surface Pro 3 - Missing Surface Pro Touch Controller Firmware after reimage

MDT 2013 - Windows 8.1 all updates.

Download surface Pro 3 firmware and driver http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826 to mdt 2013 out of box driver. Reimaged it, but missing only one and most essential driver

Surface Pro Touch Controller Firmware

without this driver, surface pro is just untouchable...can anyone help me to find this driver.

    I have the same problem, warning triangle on the driver and message saying surface needs to restart

    Hello wmboone,

    Thanks for posting here about this issue. I had a couple questions to better understand this issue. Your description makes it sound as though touch works fine on the device, not like the OP's description. Is this accurate? Also, are you stating that you have had this issue since first using this Surface Pro 3? Could you share with us the following? -- Open Device Manager and open the listing for the Touch Controller Firmware. Open the Details tab, choose hardware id from the dropdown, and let us know what is listed there. Also, are you using your device with a docking station or not?

    Having the exact same issue.  2 support chats later and a reboot AND a reimage.....still same issue! Just got my Surface Pro 3 11/3/14 - hope this purchase was not a mistake!! It seems to be working fine so not even sure (I'm not tech savvy) what this particular firmware does in regards to performance.

    this is the latest driver for touch controller. I think  you need to replace this unit.
