Surface Pro 3 - Missing Surface Pro Touch Controller Firmware after reimage

MDT 2013 - Windows 8.1 all updates.

Download surface Pro 3 firmware and driver http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=38826 to mdt 2013 out of box driver. Reimaged it, but missing only one and most essential driver

Surface Pro Touch Controller Firmware

without this driver, surface pro is just untouchable...can anyone help me to find this driver.

    Yes, for a quick fix your best option is to exchange it.  I purchased mine through CDW, so that isn't as simple of a task and I will probably wait for a fix from MS.  I just hope that MS Knowledgebase article doesn't suddenly disappear without a fix :)

    i would take it back and show the store what the revision is and ask them to replace it and set it up in store and see what revision that is too.

    I was lucky enough to exchange mine and get a working one but it was from a different store.

    Its quite possible a certain batch have this bad revision.

    At least that is a step forward! Thank you for sharing this information. I'm on my 3rd Surface Pro3 and have the same problem. So I guess the best option at this point is to wait for the fix? I just don't want the warranty to run out prior to the fix

    I had this same problem with 7 brand new Surface Pro 3 devices I purchased in late October.  Been fighting it ever since.  Looks like Microsoft has finally acknowledged the issue, but they don't have a fix yet.
