Many thanks for sharing your experience with Surface Pro 6.
I have tried 3 re-installs but the problem still occurs,
On Friday, I will be returning it to the store from where it was purchased. They will return it to Microsoft.
My question to them was how will MS replicate the problem ? I can't imagine for a moment that a MS technician will be spending a couple of hours playing with my machine waiting for the cursor to freeze !. A simple diagnostic check, which has been performed many times, will not identify the problem. What then ? Apparently, it will be returned three times for repair before they decide the next course of action !!
Supplying a Surface Pro 6 will not be the answer ( I have the previous version ) so I am determined to abandon the Surface Pro and switch to either a Google Chromebook or a Macbook. A pity, because the Surface Pro is fundamentally a great product which has been compromised by this persistent fault of the cursor freezing and By Microsoft refusing to acknowledge or fix it.
