Surface Pro 4, Screen Flickering, Shaking

I purchased SP4 device a few months ago and it was working fine for a month. Then I noticed that when the CPU is at its max, the screen flickers a bit. Investigating further revealed that it flickers even if it is setting idle. It does not flicker if at least one of the following thing is done:

A video being played in browser
If I keep the touch screen busy by either taping it or keeping a finger on it
If I use the touchpad
If keyboard is used for typing

This resulted in making the device completely unusable while reading articles or ebooks. I am a developer, most of the time I have to read the code and to do that, I have to constantly keep a finger on the touch pad or the screen. I contacted surface support in October and November and was told that the developers are working on the patch. Looking at the updates the developers are pushing since then, I don't think anyone is even aware of the problem there.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same problem (and the fix) and if not, what's the procedure for the refund? I will rather go for a mac then sacrificing $2000+ for a dancing screen.

PLEASE EVERYBODY PAY ATTENTION, THE ONLY WAY TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM IS TO PRESS MICROSOFT TO SOLVE IT ANYHOW,

COMPLETE THE NEXT SURVEY SOMEONE IS COLLECTING TO SHOW MICROSOFT THAT THIS IS AFFECTING SO MANY CONSUMERS.

THEY ARE LAYING TO US AND IF WE DONT DO ANYTHING THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE STOLEN OUR MONEY AND WE ARE GONNA HAVE BEEN STUPID PEOPLE FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING.

About 2 to 3 weeks back, the flickering issue of mine also stopped mysteriously for about a week, without any updates or any fixes implemented. However, the happiness proves only short live. The flickering issue has returned for a vengeance about a week ago, and is getting worse now day by day. And when flickering starts, the screen and the back of surface are not even warm. Besides, I use my surface in air conditioned room at a cool 24C most of the time. I doubt if this is really a temperature issue.

I don't know what happened, but I am not longer getting the flickering or the ghost image effect and this is about 6 weeks now. I just stopped watching online videos for an extended period. I can now watch videos on the surface (all day) and not flickering or ghosting.

I'm not sure if it's an update or the not watching online videos. I could test those, but not inclined to since all is going well.

Yet overheating occurs frequently when processing and compilng with LaTeX...
