Surface Laptop 3 - Event 4101 "Display driver igfxn stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone been seeing intermittent Event 4101 "Display driver igfxn stopped responding and has successfully recovered" on surface laptop 3? 

Tried all the surface diagnostics tools - all clean. Uninstalled device, reinstalled. - no joy. 

Not had the laptop that long so not sure if updating to the latest surface firmware is the cause. 

Not sure where to go from here. It happen maybe once every few days of constant use - very brief display blanking then recovers. 

Is this a driver issue with the latest intel build? Or hardware issue? Nothing else wrong with the laptop.

    I've also noticed something similar too when moving between windows thumbnail preview

    Another insight, someone suggested to "disable hardware graphics acceleration" in Outlook settings (which likely disables it for all of Office) as a temporary workaround. I'll give this a go and see if it behaves better and report back. Makes me believe this could be a display driver/firmware issue now if it works.

    We are having same issues with multiple surfaces fresh out of box surface laptop 3 surface pro 4 and 7. WE have a ticket with Microsoft open and they said they are aware of issue waiting on fix from Intel. Currently they have our logs
