I've put in two requests to AT&T. Both times they say they say my Duo isn't theirs. It did come with an AT&T sim. I tried a Verizon sim, resulting in an unlock code screen. Is there any hope of getting this Duo unlocked?

I submitted my request to unlock my surface duo on the AT&T website more than a month ago. No response is received. Can you help?

2022-02-08T17:03:19+00:00 I reached out to AT&T and the customer support flat out told me that their technical support will probably leave my case in progress and not send me a code. She said the best thing to do was to return the device for an unlocked version. I have read online that people were able to get the device unlocked only thought the help of Microsoft.

2022-02-01T18:17:38+00:00 I am send the imei to them for my surface duo 1 but received email that they don't have the unlock code, but the phone request unlock code to use third party sim.
I bought the brand new surface duo

Unfortunately, AT&T needs to provide the unlock code. We recommend reaching back out to them again.
