Anyone else have this issue? It is so frustrating and I know the wifi is fine because my phone and my old macbook have never had issues with the Wifi but this happens to my Surface almost everyday. Thanks in advance.

    All,

I believe I "may" have finally solved this.  I downloaded Intel Drive and Support Assistant.  It showed three updates, Wifi, Bluetooth and Graphics.  Skip the Graphics it won't work due to OEM protection, however both the Wifi and Bluetooth installed without issue AND I have not had a problem since.

If you go here https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html the system will automatically detect your drivers.

    Good luck,

    Ron

    Dear Marrion,

It would be much more useful if you could provide the community with some practical options to fix this issue.  I have had it since February and have been unable to remedy this.  I will be contact the vendor that this was purchase from to try to arrange a return and refund.

It is clear that Microsoft is unable to solve the problem with the network card in the Intel version of the Suface Laptop 3.

Please let us know if there is anything coming down the line that will actually fix the issue?

We are having the same problem with the AMD Surface Laptop 3 15". It is especially noticeable during Zoom calls. During a two hour meeting it usually disconnects once or twice which is very frustrating. No other device on our network has any problem losing connections while using Zoom or otherwise.

I bought a cheap usb wifi adapter and have been using that instead of the builtin wifi. This has completely eliminated the disconnects in zoom. Microsoft really needs to fix this issue. It is disappointing to buy a premium laptop with this issue to say the least.
