Hello, I noticed today my surface book 2 does not charge while plugging in the charger. I tried both while docking the keyboard in laptop mode and in tablet mode but both does not show any indication of charging. I also noticed the charger does not light up that white led to indicate charging.

I just purchased by laptop yesterday. The battery is very low and it had been plugged in overnight and did not charge.
Please advise.
What troubleshooting have you done? Have you contacted MS support? Have you run the Surface troubleshooter program? Is the white light on the plug that is plugged into the laptop? Please provide more details if you want help...
If a different power outlet still won't charge it, return for full refund and
repurchase. Do NOT exchange with Microsoft as you will get a used refurb.
tablet status microsoft surface book 2. keyboard - battery - video card does not load. I connected the tablet to the power cord and everything is ok only the bottom part does not load. I went into the device manager and connected to 220v I get it and in 10 seconds the video card and the battery 2 are reconnected and this situation is done every time. I tried to reinstall the device manager's battery 2 and the same situation. I have a microsoft surface book 2 with i7 8650u, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd and gtx1050. I need your help. some tips?
My Surfacebook2 is by far the best laptop I have ever owned, I am pleased Microsoft has made real competition for the best Mac laptops. I have come to totally depend on my Surfacebook2 as both a teaching professor and as a boutique electronic music instrument manufacturer . Needless to say, I was dismayed when earlier today when neither of my two chargers worked. I did get fast phone support and good warranty service (happy I got "Microsoft Complete") and replacement hardware is on its way. I spent half a day on this when I had hoped to do other work - but being a small-time manufacturer of high-end hardware myself, I understand that sometimes things go wrong in new pushing-the-envelope designs.

I am also having the same problem with my surface book 2 not charging. Just had it a year ago. And I'm from Canada. Hopefully, someone can help me with this. Been working fine a week ago but I don't know what happened.
