Surface book 2 not charging

I bought this surface book 2 two years ago, it was not charging happen at the first 3 months, and I went to the store and they gave me another new one.

Lucky, it was still in warranty at that time.

But now, the second one is not charging again, unfortunately it's out of warranty this time.

I Have contacted the technical support, tried uninstall and reinstall the battery drive, check latest updated. Turn the charge 180 degree. Separately charge the touch panel.

Still not charge, my the laptop is out of battery, I don't know what I can do unless go to the store after shelter in place order gone.

I'm starting to suspect the root cause of many of the issues with the dock (usb ports and ethernet not recognized, not charging) is the pin connector socket on the laptop. It's really not a great design to start with - you can wiggle it and it disconnects which is pretty scary - and I'm pretty sure if the pins aren't making good contact, things are going to fail. This also may be why Msft has been so unresponsive because recalling hundreds of thousands of Surfaces would be a disaster for them. I know they were trying to be clever with the magnetic connector but to me it's a weak link and should've been made much more resilient.

Try to detach the clipboard and charge the battery with the middle pin hole. Thats how i use mine.

Thanks, I have tried, but it didn't work. The power LEDs is solid white, but it't not charging. The same as I plug in keyboard charge port.

Not sure if it's hardware issue, as  plug in the power. The small LED shows solid white. But windows didn't recognize, not charging.  Whatever I try to charge the keyboard or the touch panel, it's the same behavior.
