Connecting surface earbuds to two devices

Is it possible, if using an android phone and a surface book to connect the earbuds similitaniously to each of those devices?

Having the surface audio app installed on both devices, it's still hard to quickly change audio between the phone and the laptop.

    When can you have this fixed? Should be an easy software fix. I need to be able to switch seamlessly between my Win10 PC and my Android phone..otherwise i will have to return these.

    The issue is it doesn’t easily switch between registered devices. For example,  I’ve paired them with my iPhone and Surface book. In order to switch devices I have to put them in the case, put them in pairing mode, and switch devices. This is really an easy win for MSFT. Please fix this.

    Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community.

    Surface Earbuds can be paired up to 7 devices but it can only be actively used on 1 device at a time which is your last paired device if it is in range. Otherwise, it will pair to the device in the order you have last used. You may also control which device will be used by going to the Surface Audio app > Device Setting > Paired devices. You will have the list of devices that was paired with your Surface Earbuds and you'll have the option to toggle which device will be connected.

    That's too bad. That's a deal breaker. I cant recommend these to any of my users. Multipoint has been a part of Bluetooth for 10 years. We will have to stick to Jabra earbuds for now.

    Arggg I was searching for the way to do this and this thread came up in the search results. 

    I use Teams frequently for work, but wanted to be able to switch between Surface Laptop and phone (android) quickly... Seems like a very unfortunate flaw.

    What would be great if a triple tap on the left earbud toggled to the next bluetooth connection in the paired list.

    I have the same question....Come on Microsoft, we know you can do it so lets just do it.
