Hi saiedbaran,

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your concerns and have been investigating. An update has been flighted to Windows Insiders that we believe addresses this problem and are evaluating that update for release on Windows Update.

Please stay tuned and continue to check for Surface and Windows Updates to ensure your device has the most current firmware and software available.

Note: Marking as "Answered" to raise visibility for now. We will update this response once the fix has been published.

    Hello,

I already used Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and also my windows is completely up to date. The usual temperature of my surface is not so high but under high pressure like graphic software it becomes hot, even in this situation I can not hear the fan sound.

    Hello,

It's none of our intention for this to happen and definitely this is not the experience we want for you.

We need to ask you some questions.

    • We would like to know, on the time the fan is not working, the Surface device is running hot or not?
    • Have you already install all the updates on the Surface device? If No, please go to Start menu>Settings>Update and Security>Check for Update.
    • Please run Surface Diagnostic Toolkit .
    • Restart.

    Please keep us posted.

    Thank you.
