I am experiencing the same issue. I'm sitting 2 feet away from the router and it maxes out at 72 MBs while connected to a power source. If I run on battery it drops to a max of 11 MBs.

I have an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11ac wireless router at home and am only connecting at a max of speed of 72Mbps (usually closer to 11Mbps if I'm more than 20 feet away from the WAP). I have two other 802.11ac laptops at home (Samsung AB9+ and rMBP) and my two other computers are connecting up at 800Mbps+ and pulling down the same on Internet speed tests; yes, I have real GigE connectivity. Is anyone else having these problems?

Did you downgrade the driver?

2014-06-22T16:58:58+00:00 I've also been getting very slow wifi speeds (6-12 Mbps) where other pcs are performing at 300Mbps
Internet speed tests on the surface pro are under 5Mbps while I get the expected 105mb or better with my other PC.
Stability improved after disabling Bluetooth on the surface pro 3 but that is far from an ideal solution. I'll try the rollback mentioned here.

He had me uninstall three adapters; wireless, battery, and A/C. After a restart the drivers are installed automatically from the local drive (like they were out of the box).
With my Airport Extreme I am able to get a 833 MB/s connection. Through Windows Update I can see there is an 'important update' available dated 6/19. It's labeled as an updated related to the hardware. I'm not sure what all drivers are updated with this install, but obviously I will avoid it until they provide a new update (post 6/19).
If you have windows to automatically install important updates you will likely have issues. Windows will continue to install the 6/19 update which is causing the issue.
