Yeah. That was the case for me when I first got it. I would say the best wifi throughput and link speed that I had was after September update. The one from earlier this week didn't do anything good.

I have an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11ac wireless router at home and am only connecting at a max of speed of 72Mbps (usually closer to 11Mbps if I'm more than 20 feet away from the WAP). I have two other 802.11ac laptops at home (Samsung AB9+ and rMBP) and my two other computers are connecting up at 800Mbps+ and pulling down the same on Internet speed tests; yes, I have real GigE connectivity. Is anyone else having these problems?

That is still pretty amazing, the SP3's I tested before giving to employee's seemed to be hard limited at 72megabit no matter what the wireless card synced up at.

2014-10-30T14:01:15+00:00 So I can definitely say that the latest update made things worse....At my house on the router I have enabled Dual band operation with Band Steering feature (Band Steering detects clients capable of 5 GHz operation and steers them to that frequency, while leaving 2.4 GHz available for legacy clients.) which was working out good and I was getting the expected 300mbs. After the update things went sour and I am back to link speeds somewhere between 100-144mbs. Pretty lame...

2014-10-30T00:36:52+00:00 Can't deal with these WiFi Issues again. My WiFi would either blue screen, not reconnect during resume, or crash the whole servicing stack during June and July. The updates from August and then September fixed most of these issues. So I reverted the Marvell driver back to 15.68.3055.107. That worked well. I'll see what happens as I left the other October updates alone.

2014-10-29T22:35:40+00:00 Has anyone tried removing the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi driver from device manager and letting the system re-detect it. If you go so far as to remove(delete) drivers from the system, make sure you download the Surface Drivers first.
