Surface Pro 3 Slow WiFi - 72Mbps Max (driver)

I have an Apple Airport Extreme 802.11ac wireless router at home and am only connecting at a max of speed of 72Mbps (usually closer to 11Mbps if I'm more than 20 feet away from the WAP). I have two other 802.11ac laptops at home (Samsung AB9+ and rMBP) and my two other computers are connecting up at 800Mbps+ and pulling down the same on Internet speed tests; yes, I have real GigE connectivity. Is anyone else having these problems?

    Hello, just wondering, how are you testing the transfer speed? via file explorer between SP3 and a server on the other end in the LAN?  Are you able to test with another computer under the same LAN setup that connects to the same AC router via wireless and then do the same transfer speed test and see the 200+ Mbps speed?

    Thanks John, glad someone is listening.  The latest update from yesterday seems to fix some people but it didn't help me.  My wifi connection speed to my Dlink DIR-868L is at 72mbps.  Connection to a Dlink DIR-655 is at 65mbps.  I don't have connection problems (maybe because I'm sitting next to the router) but I should be getting much faster speeds with these N and AC routers.  I'm ok with those speeds for now.  Looking forward to the next update.

    Quick update from me. Right after I installed new update, LAN speed went up to 300Mb, and went down back to 72Mb after a reboot. Tried reinstalling driver with no results. Iam running on N.

    Hello, the latest windows updates seemed to have solved "so far" the issues I was having with the SP3.  Still only about 24 hour since the updates but it has not disconnected once from the AC router.  I even connected it to the old G router an hour ago and the speeds were normal, no "Limited" issues.

    So for now I am going to say that for me it has solved the issue.  I will report back if I find some problems but with my Linksys WRT1900AC, it is stable even with the channel in Auto now like the other devices.  Hopefully they don't break it again.
