I have had a SP3 for about six weeks.
SP3 will at times draw about 1% or less per an hour while in connected sleep, but will also draw 20%. When it does this, it will be because the CPU is active for the majority of the time that it is in sleep, yet there will be no activators and no issues in Fx, PDC or networking (all green). CPU will show active time of 95% or more. I have removed all background activity, and have uninstalled programs to see what the issue might be. What is most perplexing is that in the same session, with the same programs running, I will put the computer to sleep and it will do fine. But, if I put the computer to sleep again just minutes later, it may draw 20%. Thus, it does not seem to be based on one program running. I cannot find out what is activating the CPU during sleep and sleepstudy shows no activators.
I have had re-installed the Windows, and I have gotten a warranty replacement but the problem persists.
Any ideas?
