Surface Pro 7 Freezing and Restarting

I just purchased the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and have only been using it for one day. In that time it has frozen and completely restarted itself 4 times. It is brand new and I probably only have an hour or two or screen time. There is no specific thing that causes it, the screen just randomly freezes until the surface restarts on it's own. Any solutions or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Which one?

    I have a recommended one, it appeared to work, but now gone back to freezing and typing lags behind at times

    I found that the problem lies with the Intel software and fixed it by downloading the intel app from the Microsoft store.

    I bought one surface online from Microsoft and they were fantastic at getting a new one out to me really quickly and they arranged for the collection of the returned machine. Replacement machine worked great, no problems.

    Im having the same problem.  I cant do any of the updates because it just keeps restarting.  I tried the four step reset and it claims it restored back to 9/23/20 (the original date i turned it on) and it continues to just reatart ever minute or so.  Any advice.  Do i just return it and if so where?   I bought online from Microsoft.
