bluethooth mouse breaks wireless connection

Anyway, after a few reinstalls. I still have the same issue on my surface pro. When I go a few days without using my Microsoft Sculpt comfort Mouse, I have no problems. When I do use it, I get a total breakdown of wireless connections.  First my mouse stops responding. Then wifi drops, normally theres a lag before I see it show up on the wifi icon in the system tray. When I click it, it shows 'No connections are available', followed by 'troubleshoot' The only fix is to reboot, which it won't ever do properly after this error. I always have to hold the power button down and do a manual reset.

I also have random times when the Bluetooth goes out but comes back on. This can take about a minute to happen. When this happens, the wifi stays on.  I also have a lot of lag in the mouse while downloading/streaming anything from the internet.

Obviously this is Windows 8.1, running on a Surface Pro, using a Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon!

    Any resolution to this problem yet?  I have the same issues.  It seems to be a problem only when bluetooth and wifi are both in use.  I have bluetooth mice and keyboards dropping out all the time as well as a bluetooth speaker that causes the wifi to disconnect every time I turn it on and it connects to my surface.  This is really annoying when I'm trying to stream a video and actually hear it through my bluetooth speaker rather than the anemic surface pro speakers.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated--other than rolling back to regular Windows 8.

    FYI, I've had this problem constantly up till 4 days ago. The solution? Revert back to win 8, and don't go back to 8.1.  In the past I reverted a few times and just went strait to installing 8.1. it's been 4 days now with regular old Windows 8, and I've had no issues.

    Please tell me these bugs are out of 8.1 RTM. Does anyone at Microsoft actually use 8.1 on real surface pro hardware? It's been a real pain. Now I'll just have to live without the improvements 8.1 has to offer.

    I'm seeing the same thing as well with Surface Pro with Windows 8.1 preview.

    My Bluetooth Wedge mouse stops responding, and then no network connectivity.

    If I use a USB Mouse then I don't have any issues.

    The issue has been seen with 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi connections, with A, G and N networking equipment.

    It's not the mouse.  I am having the same issue.  I'm using 8.1 on surface pro with wedge mouse + wedge keyboard.  Usually, about every 6 hours, the BT stops completely, then the wifi connection goes down and when clicking on the wifi network icon, it says "no connections available".

    I've also found that when using the network, i.e. sync'ing to skydrive, the BT mouse becomes extremely laggy to the point of non-use where I have to wait for whatever application is using the network to stop.

    This is absolutely a bug in the MARVEL chipset or drivers.  This also seems like something very basic that should have been found months ago by MSFT DEV/QA.

    Is there any solution? (And no, BLD 9477 does not resolve this issue either).  I work remotely most of the time and this is my primary PC, I would hate to switch back to Mac or some other brand of laptop.

    Are you able to pair the Bluetooth mouse to another PC / Device and see if it causes issues on that device?
