My SP4 gets very hot and drains the battery very fast even though it is asleep. I found it very hot in its sleeve and down to 28% earlier today. Found it dead later in the afternoon. This is one of MANY issues this device has.
(My SP4 is not part of the insider program)

We released an update on 2/17/2016 that addresses this issue.
We recommend that you install this update to keep your Surface performing its best. You can get updates now by checking Settings> Update & security> Windows Update.
To confirm the updates are installed, check Settings> Update & security> Windows Update> Advanced options> View your update history.

Exactly the same issue here. Before TH2 I could get ~700mW drain during a 2 hour sleep session. And now I just got a 1600mW from a 5 hour sleep (I disabled hibernate first). This is unacceptable.
Most of the time the top offender is Intel HD Graphics, which seldom appeared in top 3 before TH2. The active time is amazingly stable around 15%. Besides, I usually have high activity from Marvell adapter as well and it is actually sending and receiving data. This is quite confusing since no matter how I change the related wifi settings, it still persists.
Having this exact same issue, seem to be very wide spread.
Microsoft has lied about this...during the Surface Keynote Panos Panay specifically stated that the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book have no battery drain during sleep, when it clearly is not the case.
I can duplicate those same numbers. 16% for graphics, and 12% for CPU. Doesn't matter how long it is in CS, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. After the November update, the top 2 offenders are always graphics (16%) and cpu (12%).
It would be nice if someone from Microsoft on here could acknowledge these issues with the sleep state, both the battery drain and the device refusing to wake up after a long time asleep. We have paid a lot for these devices, so is anyone reading these threads or are we just being ignored here?
