Hey Josh,
I just got my Surface Pro 4 yesterday (03/18/2016) and have ensured all the proper updates have been installed. However, I am having major power issues. My surface pro doesn't seem to hold a charge for very long.
For instance, I grabbed it today at 10:00 AM fully charged and used it off and on until about 3:00 and at that point it was nearly dead. I streamed video for about an hour, but other than that I've just been using it normally. In that 5 hour time frame there
w's at least 1.5 hours where I wasn't using it at all and it was in hibernation.
I've read several articles and tips on saving battery life and tried to implement those but they don't seem to be helping. I even have Cortana turned completely off..
Could it be that I have a defected battery? Is there any way for me to check this without taking it to a store?
I bought this to replace my iPad, but so far it hasn't come anywhere near the iPad in terms of battery.
I have the Surface Pro 4 - Intel i7 - 8GB RAM - 256GB Storage.
Thanks for any insight that you can provide.
