Mine's definitely fixed. This drain has been one of two big issues I have with the SB since buying it in November. I only rarely use my SB in the evening. As a result I routinely shut it down at 5pm and boot it at 8:30am the following morning. One battery is always at 92-93% and the other at 100%. Over a weekend its usually around 85% on BOTH batteries on Monday morning. After this president's day long weekend my SB was at 75% on BOTH batteries. This drain occurred powered off from 100% at 5pm on Friday to 8:30am on Tuesday.
I know there has been some mild debate in this thread regarding whether this is acceptable or not. Personally I find this incredibly unacceptable. It was stated at the press announcement ON STAGE that this device would not have any drain when powered off. It was one of the reasons I bought it. I should be able to shut down my laptop on a Friday and boot it the following Tuesday after a long weekend and have confidence the battery will be at the same or NEAR the same level of charge. I shouldn't have to remember to take it out of my bag the night before and top it off to 100% after sitting OFF in my bag for 3 days.
Anyways, I came pretty close to marching this thing into Best Buy on Tuesday evening after it draining so bad over the weekend and demanding a refund. Instead on Wednesday I decided to do a complete fresh reinstall from a USB image rather than just a Reset. After it was complete I received this update almost immediately. I shut my laptop down around 5:30 on Wednesday evening and Thursday morning it was at 100%. Last night (Thursday) I made sure it was charged and disconnected it and left it on my desk at 5pm in hibernate. This morning at 8:30am it read 100% and I verified the mWh are basically unchanged using Nirsoft's BatteryInfoView.
For me, the issue is confirmed to be fixed. I'm not sure what advice there is for anyone still experiencing it.
