Can someone explain why the back of my surface pro 4 (only when the brightness isn't 0% or 100%) makes a noise?
For example, when it is on 25% of brightness it starts making a strange noise slight like a whistling...
Can someone help me?

New update 1/27 did not fix this problem. I am on my 5th Surface Pro 4 because of it. As much as I love what I have (i5 256 gb) I will be returning it. For the amount of money that is spent of this high class machine, I expect these types of problems to be non existant.
I'm having the same issue with my m3. I also don't hear it at 0% or 100%. Is there any hope that this could be fixed via a software update or is it definitely hardware related?
Has battery been affected by this?
That's very interesting. The noise in my video is correlated with what the computer is doing. Touching the screen dampens the noise and adds a buzz to it (I'm not sure the buzz is audible in the video). I cannot notice any obvious correlation with the brightness level. However, it is also most audible at the top right of the computer - that is where the processor is btw. It would be interesting to see a demonstration of the noise correlated with screen brightness, if someone wanted to make a video of that...
EDIT: I have heard the brightness-correlated noise. It is indeed different from the CPU-correlated coil whine, which on my machine is much louder.
