Surface Pro 4, annoying noise from the back!

Can someone explain why the back of my surface pro 4 (only when the brightness isn't 0% or 100%) makes a noise?

For example, when it is on 25% of brightness it starts making a strange noise slight like a whistling...

Can someone help me?

No good sign if it is common and to i5.

Well as i said earlier its all about been lucky not to have that issue.

This issue is common to m3 version not i5/i7.

Me too not have issue with my i5.

Actually, from what I've observed, it is very common with the i5 version.  Every i5 version I have checked has the electrical noise issue.  I checked multiple units at a Microsoft Store and Best Buy.  Granted, these might be early / pre-production units.  However, I have used three different i5 units myself that were not pre-production, and every one had the high-pitched electrical noise.

I have 2 SP4 i5/8GB/512, pre ordered at launch date without any issues. only heard the fan kicking loud few times when using Premiere.

During normal usage, outlook, browsing, office...I rarely heard the fan.

    No electrical noise at all.

    You can't.

Its mutter of being lucky I can say.

As I said i had 2 m3 version 1545 and 1549 and both had same level issue with that electrical noise.

Are you saying that for the two m3 versions, one of them was lot 1549?

It could be that maybe at lot 1549 for the i5 version, something changed in the production

Yes I had one 1545 and one 1549 both m3 with same issue.

I'm now having 1549 but it's i5/4/128 version and not having that noise.

I suggest getting the i5 rather m3 plus as doesn't deliver any other advantages like better battery life than i5.

I was expecting much more in battery life for low voltage Core M CPU but m3 simple doesn't offer.
