Bluetooth Surface Keyboard keeps disconnects from my surface book 2

Hi.

The last month, my surface keyboard (External bluetooth version), keeps loosing connection to my surface book 2, if i have been away from the office, or my Surface book 2 has been in standby..... (I have tried to change the batteries in the keyboard)

When it happens (Which is does many times a day), i have to delete the paired surface keyboard on the surface book.. wait about a minute, and the press the pair button on the keyboard, and pair it with my surface book again. Then i works undtil the nex time it has been in standby or i have been away from the office....    I have han the surface book and keyboard 7 months, and have never been a issue before a month ago.  (I have tried to run e driver update, and the bluetooth repair, nothing helps.

They funny thing is, that i have a business partner in another company with the same setup as mine, he told med that he has the same issue with keyboard as i have....   

Any ideas what our problem is, and are there other with the same issue???

    Same for me... SO very frustrating. You should think Microsoft hardware would work well together - not the case at all!

    Just wanted to throw my name out there too. I have the Surface Keyboard and Precision Mouse and the keyboard disconnects constantly or ghost types or keys stick or you name it! Oddly enough it works far better on my Mac Book Pro. Not perfect, but much better.

    I may try the newer Modern Keyboard, but have my doubts. It seems the keyboard is going to sleep and doesn't want to wake up. I also notice that it seem to work better if I am right next to the pc. However the normal position is only about a foot away.

    Anyway a very frustrating experience!

    Me alsow. Same hardware, same issue. The keyboard worked flawless befor some weeks/months ago, but no its useless. I love this keyboard so pleas microsoft answer us.

    Add me to the list too.  Combed google and tried disabling/enabling a feature.  It worked fine until a windows update.  Surface pro 4 now Surface book 2.  I also got a second keyboard thinking it was a problem and it happens with both.  My surface mice (I have 3) work just fine.
