My 3 month old Surface Book 3 has developed a small crack in the screen.

The crack is about 2cm long , at the top of the screen in the center above the webcam.

It is an upside down semi circle shape.

Microsoft Support have already told me it will not be covered under warranty.

    Surface Book 3 purchased in 2020. First noticed a semi circle crack underneath web cam. Now a month later there is a hairline crack from the top middle down to bottom right corner. $2,800 for this pos. Should def last longer than 2 years.

    This happened to me too, three separate models. Not only that, the graphics card disconnects randomly, making it useless for the work I do. I think the model is extremely faulty and Microsoft should be responsible for repairing the bad design.

    I have 2 Surface Books - screen cracked on both; the screen on the older one is bulged out but it works normally; pity, otherwise a great machine; I don't see any responses to 2020 posts on this issue so I conclude that Microsoft doesn't care about generating negative goodwill;
