Surface Pro 7 charger randomly stops working

I bought my Surface Pro 7 about 5 months ago and the charger has been giving me problems for about a month now. It only sometimes charges and it seems to be random when it does. I have to plug and unplug the charger multiple times in multiple outlets around the house in order for the Surface to recognize it, and when it does I have to leave it be because if I move it in any way, it stops charging again.

Please if anyone has had this problem or has anyone knows what I could do, it would be appreciated. Not sure if the problem is the charger but it is very frustrating since the device is brand new and I haven't even used it for a year.

To verify if it's a problem with the charger or the charging port, we suggest the following:

• Try a different Surface Charger and check if the issue is resolve.

• Clean the tip of the charger with a cloth, dirt might be blocking the connection.

• Try the current charger to a different Surface Device.

We recommend following the steps at What to do if your Surface power supply or charger doesn’t work and requesting service if needed.

I bought this POS in November and have gone through 6 chargers. I have to buy one every month. I will never by a Microsoft Surface/ Laptop ever again.

Big tech intentionally designs their products to fail within a few years or at least after the warranty expires. Buy an aftermarket charger from Amazon and problem solved. Microsoft and Apple are among the many flagships that are sinking because they chose greed over customer satisfaction.

I wish that was my only problem with the Surface Laptop 3.

I started having serious WiFi problems recently, and unless I"m 2 meters / 6 feet away from a router, the connection keeps being interrupted.

Wish I never bought it. Next one is back to good ol' Dell that never disappoints...

I have the exact same problem and this is the 3rd (!!) surface charger l have in 12 months of owning the device. Unbelievably disappointing and when l called the Surface support line they said it's an "unknown issue". Probably don't want to compensate the millions of Surface owners with the same problem. That is my first and last surface device for sure. So disappointing.
