Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6. Was anyone able to get their surface pro to use the pen pressure sensitivity? In my photoshop settings when i turn on Pen Pressure for brush settings i see a yellow exclamation mark next to each settings which has to do with pen pressure. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please let me know.

Download the driver dated may 9th ...today.. install and

    How does the pen respond in other photo apps? Same or worse or better? I am curious if this mainly Adobe's program not being up to snuff or more Microsoft's driver support. Do you have any other programs to test with? I left my pen at home so I cannot test. Will do so tonight.

    It's Adobe.  Adobe hasn't supported N-Trig pressure sensitivity for some time.  Why? Adobe says it's a "driver issue" which it's clearly not since ArtRage and Sketchbook Pro both support NTrig without any trouble.   Adobe is just being its normal Adobe self and refusing to support something its customers want because it has decided people have to it the "Adobe way" or the highway. (Often even when Adobe is doing something the wrong way *cough* EXR *cough*.)

    Nope, it's Microsoft's fault.  Adobe could implement the INK API, but that wouldn't help those of us who wish to use other software, like Blender, GIMP, MyPaint, or others that only recognize WinTab pressure support.

    I was told at the Microsoft-store that the Surface Pro's Pen was Wacom and would work as such. After I bought one, I learned that Photoshop wouldn't work with the pen. After a long discussion, the Microsoft phone-support told me that the Surface Pro pen was not a Wacom pen. Additionally, they said they were waiting for Adobe to add support to their software and had no idea how this would be implemented or when.

    I don't think a "pro" machine should be claiming to use Wacom technology when it uses something else. I also don't think they should be claiming that it can "run photoshop" when key features are disabled.

    I returned my Surface yesterday. I liked the machine and really want one, but the Surface Pro does not function as advertised. If they get the pen supported in photoshop, I will buy one and keep it.
