Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6. Was anyone able to get their surface pro to use the pen pressure sensitivity? In my photoshop settings when i turn on Pen Pressure for brush settings i see a yellow exclamation mark next to each settings which has to do with pen pressure. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please let me know.

    Up until today I've been using Harmony 7.8 on the Surface Pro. I've loaded up some really heavy Harmony files to test it out and it's done extremely well. Harmony 10.1 is slower for some reason but I've noticed it to be slower on my desktop as well. The Surface Pro won't replace my desktop any time soon for my professional studio work but it's a perfect fit for my personal projects.

    Oh wow look at that, there it is in the settings in Harmony. Good looking out! How does Harmony perform on the Surface?

    The main reason I bought the Surface Pro was for animation. I'm quite disappointed about the lack of pressure support with some software, especially ToonBoom Harmony as I wanted a portable animation studio. But today I installed the latest version of the Harmony and in the settings it allows you to disable Wintab support under a tab called "tablet support". So after unchecking the Wintab box and restarting the software, pressure sensitivity worked! So it's good to know that some software companies have thought ahead and gave users an option.

    My only other note is that perhaps Wacom is not being very helpful with Microsoft's driver as Wacom is planning on putting out a similar device in the summer. If the Wintab driver worked on the Surface Pro, there's no way I'd consider buying a Wacom tablet as it would probably cost a boat load of money. So Wacom might be trying to slow down Microsoft's progress. But that's just speculation, I really have no idea.

    MS has not been reasonable, competent, or communicative. They are too fragmented to know or care about facts on the ground, and feel disgruntled consumers can be managed by tabletop dances and bright colors. The sad thing is that the company is likely chock full of really bright people who are constrained from creating real value. Vote with your pocket book... We'll have other choices this summer, and worst case scenario, I can sell my current Wintab-free machine and get something like the Samsung ATIV700 that does support industry standard GFX programs. I was put off by its plasticness and crumy keyboard... bad call I guess.
