Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6. Was anyone able to get their surface pro to use the pen pressure sensitivity? In my photoshop settings when i turn on Pen Pressure for brush settings i see a yellow exclamation mark next to each settings which has to do with pen pressure. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please let me know.

Download the driver dated may 9th ...today.. install and

reboot.

    no one is questioning whether Photoshop will run on the Surface Pro. people are

    discovering that with all the hoopla over the digitizer and stylus with 1000+

    pressure sensitive points that marketing deliberately omitted the info that the

    pressure/eraser features would not be usable with the apps that designers and

    photographers use most often. do you actually think that Photoshop users will

    accept using a PEN like a mouse as a substitute??

    why can't Microsoft customize and provide an appropriate driver from base

    drivers available from Wacom? it is soooooooooooooo unlikely that Adobe will

    make updates for this.

    absolutely runs on Surface Pro and you can use the PEN in a similar way to the

    mouse. "

    Microsoft installed the driver for the version of the pen they have. PhotoShop doesn't recognize that driver so they can't make full use of the pen. Installing a driver that PhotoShop does recognize and that is close to the Surface pen driver works as a workaround but the may not utilize all the features of the pen

    I think the issue you're highlighting is mainly a Adobe Photoshop issue. The software was never really made to take advantage of touch screens. I'm using CS6, and there are other oddities not isolated to the surface, such as flickering and screen refresh issues. The ball is now in Adobe's court now to make Photoshop more touch friendly.

    pen pressure sensitivity works as well as the eraser but pan / zoom / rotate doesn't work as expected for touch in Photoshop CS5, how is it in CS6?
