Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6.

Wacom is rumored to be working on a pressure sensitive tablet device for the summer...

I think people are a little too excited about this already.  For one thing, the only thing rumored for the summer is an announcement of a tablet.  Wacom may not release anything right away.  Secondly, Wacom has never built such a product before, so until you have some real answers about specs and cost (which, knowing Wacom will be sky high) you can't just count on a rumored tablet to solve everyone's problems.  A lot of people already bought a Surface and just want it to work.  Today.  It shouldn't be that difficult and why it's taking months to accomplish is something that demands a few straight answers.

It's lazy on the part of MS - this only affects the CUSTOMERS that bought their product, and thus the people that are unhappy should return it.  It wasn't a decision that was thought through very carefully.  I will give a slight nod to MS as far as others involved Wacom (new tech) + Adobe (software).  ULTIMATELY if MS wanted to get it done, they could have - and it would have been EASY.  Instead they chose to be careless and push the adoption of something else.  I am waititng for this to be resolved before I purchase.  If I had bought one, I would probably return it.  There is a good chance something better will be out by the time they work things out.  Wacom is rumored to be working on a pressure sensitive tablet device for the summer...

Wintab is old and if they want to move away from it, then fine, and that's on the developers to catch up. 

Wintab may be old, but it's far from outdated and broken. and pretty much all of major art/animation programs make use of it, and it seems like this will be the only tablet that doesn't use it. Samsung didn't force the move on its consumers, why is it justified for Microsoft to do it? I don't mean to sound like this guy (who pretty much started a whole campaign to ensure artists don't buy the Surface Pro) but come on, it's a problem that could've been easily avoided. 

I'm not saying it was smart or the right thing to do....only that it's their choice.  And that would have been fine if they had communicated that to customers prior to launch.  I just wouldn't have purchased their product.  As it is, MS has done a major disservice to many customers who were really excited about the Surface and are now left sitting with hardware they may not really want or even need.  Until they fix it, there are really no acceptable excuses because they were not as honest as they should have been from the start.  They certainly knew this was a problem and just hoped that either developers would clean up the mess or that it wouldn't be a big deal.  I can't even tell you how furious that makes me.
