Surface Pro Pen pressure sensitivity is not working in photoshop CS6. Was anyone able to get their surface pro to use the pen pressure sensitivity? In my photoshop settings when i turn on Pen Pressure for brush settings i see a yellow exclamation mark next to each settings which has to do with pen pressure. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please let me know.

    I don't think Sony has any skin in the 'let's be helpful to our customers' game regarding Wintab... however, N-Trig tech support has told me TWICE that they are planning to support it this year. Back around Xmas when I bought my Duo 11, I was told Q1 2013, and just this week was told by another N-Trig rep that they are planning to release new drivers sometime this year. Deadlines obviously mean nothing to N-Trig, but there is some cause to be hopeful that this most excellent device will get 'the fix' in the not-too-distant future. With its 6GB RAM, larger screen, instantly accessible backlit keyboard, and most importantly, slice battery option (all day mobile use!), it is only Wintab shy of being the run-away leader of the current pack. IMO of course!

    I'm joining this discussion because I bought a Surface Pro, and I would like to use Photoshop and Zbrush on it. The tablet is wonderful and I like it, but without the pressure option for a graphist, you loose a lot of interest compared to other tablets.

    I hope you'll come back soon with news for a public beta test of the drivers.

    We'll keep pushing you to give us as soon as possible the solution we're waiting ^^

    Hello Onslaught_2000,

    Sorry to hear about the feature not being active with Photoshop.

    Advanced features such as Pressure or Eraser support may not be available until Adobe updates their apps to take advantage of the new Windows APIs but Photoshop absolutely runs on Surface Pro and you can use the PEN in a similar way to the mouse.

    So I bought a Surface Pro partly because I want a pressure sensitive stylus for use in Adobe Creative Suite 6. Adobe uses the Wintab API to detect pressure and tilt sensitivity primarily in Wacom digitizers (but anyone can implement the API). It turns out that even though the Surface Pro does use Wacom technology (Wacom pens will work with it), the drivers were not made to support the Wintab API needed to communicate pressure variables to Adobe CS6.

    Is Microsoft going to update their drivers to support the pressure sensitivity API's properly?
