The bluetooth connection between my surface heads and iphone is unstable and will drop in the middle of phone calls. The surface app will look connected to the headset at first then it will drop as well and never reconnect. I have tried everything in the help articles and nothing works. Firmware is up to date, I have factory reset the headphones 10 times, droppped and re-paired endless times, etc. etc. Please help this problem makes my headphones useless for work on my iphone! Not good for such an expensive headset.

    Hi Sean,

Welcome to Microsoft Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Surface Headphones 2+ on your iPhone. Test connecting your Surface headphones to another Bluetooth device (like a laptop or tablet). This will help rule out whether the issue is with the headphones themselves or specifically with your iPhone.

Check for Interference: Bluetooth signals can be disrupted by other nearby devices or even Wi-Fi networks. If possible, try using the headphones in a different environment, like a quieter room or away from other electronic devices, to see if the connection stabilizes.

If none of this works, there may be a deeper compatibility issue between the Surface headphones and iPhone's Bluetooth stack. It could be worth reaching out to Microsoft Support again or consider testing the headphones with another Bluetooth device like a laptop for further troubleshooting. Your SincerelyHahn. Hi - thanks for the response. I do use the headphones with my Surface laptop using the USB dongle and that works very well. The problem is only with my iphone.

Testing with other devices and environments doesn't help me I need to use it with the devices and environment I an in.

The iphone app seems defective to me, it doesn't recognize the headphones even when they are paired and working with the iphone.

It is really difficult to find the right support channel for this, I keep getting pointed to this community as the only option.

    -Sean

I have been having the same issue with my SHP2 (hardware 1919-600B, software 1.0.7.44) and my iphone14 pro (iOS 18.3.2)

Msft support, can you guys prioritize this issue. Plz give the community a solution. All the normal stuff that we are told has been tried and does not work.

Appreciate your direction on how to address this. Thx.
