Monitor stuck on displayport with 640x480

Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI. 

I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

    I tried the latest Intel drivers: 26.20.100.7870, and the problem still persists with my external DisplayPort MST daisy-chained monitors.

    I reverted back to the Intel drivers: 25.20.100.7101 from the October 2019 Surface Laptop 3 release, as that version works as expected.

    I finally was able to refresh my install after many attempts and it actually kind of worked.  I am now able to get 1 external monitor working again.  Not the two I originally had but better than no externals. However, I needed to disconnect the second monitor to allow the first monitor to be seen.

    I am using the Surface dock and mini-display port. The display adapter driver is the December 2019 version, 26.20.100.7641. 

    Where can I find the October driver files?  I see websites talking about it but no download links.

    PS: My SP7 is saying I have additional MS updates but I'm scared to even restart the SP7 much less upgrade anything. MS has really damaged this customers confidence, not like they care.

    Same problem here. happens on a brand new surface pro 7 and surface dock... this is frustrating...
