Not sure if related to outdated driver, but occasionally this fuzzy/shaking occurs on mine...
Monitor stuck on displayport with 640x480
Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI.
I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

2021-10-24T12:37:58+00:00 For some reasons the driver was "upgraded" today without manual intervention.
So I had to revert, again.
Sigh.

2021-10-23T02:32:08+00:00 My current driver is 25.20.100.7101 dated 2019-8-5
Upgrading to Windows 11 will switch to the latest version, but rolling back is still possible.
Cheers.

2021-10-23T00:44:50+00:00 The same thing happened to me. I'm glad I posted the old intel driver link a few months ago because I had a feeling I would need to use it again.
Do you by chance have a new version of the intel driver, particularly the 11/2019 one?
Does anyone know if upgrading to windows 11 would impact this?

2021-10-22T17:02:50+00:00 Today MS pushed another graphics driver update for SP7 (27.20.100.9621)
And it broke the external monitor setup again.
And lo, this thread is still here.
Abandoned.
