Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI.
I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

Just got a Surface Laptop 3 yesterday. Updated drivers. Connect my monitor through a USB / HDMI adapter.
Monitor is stuck at 640x480.
What does it take to connect my surface laptop to an external monitor ?

The driver version I have is 27.20.100.8853.
Does the new Surface Dock 2 resolve this issue?

2021-03-06T12:29:38+00:00 No, it didn't solve the problem. I was able to install an older version two months ago. This older version worked well. But today an update was installed by windows and now I have the same problem. Unfortunately, my workaround does not work anymore.
