Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI.

I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

I'm in the same boat since January.  I bought the Surface Dock off Amazon to use the dual monitors (as an upgrade from my older Surface Dock for the SP3, which also worked well with my SP5).  I have been a no-go for the past six months (except for the occasional day here and there).

As to MS deleting posts in this thread, the easiest and most effective way to shut down this discussion is to - fix the problem.

Has anyone tried getting a refund? I bought from a third party and here's the problem I am getting.

    1. Called Microsoft - they deflect to technical support, who cannot issue any actual service help.
    2. Called Third party - they deflect to Microsoft

Help, I wasted $200 on a Surface Hub and need to get this out.
