Monitor stuck on displayport with 640x480
Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI.
I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

2020-06-06T22:24:27+00:00 Can someone tell me step by step how to install the old drivers? I downloaded the MSI package and extracted it. I am not able to know which folders belongs to the graphics driver.
I am using the surface pro 7 with a lenovo USB C/Thunderbolt Gen 2 dock and I am getting a low resolution only on the display port. The HDMI port of the dock gives full resolution. I use this dock so that I can have compatibility with other laptops. Other manufacturer's devices work well on this dock except Surface Pro 7.
As someone else suggested, I signed up for the insider's program to get the latest firmware updates and other updates. However that didnt solve the problem as well for me with the lenovo dock.
So I wish to roll back the driver and check it once.

2020-06-06T00:11:42+00:00 Feedback from our Microsoft contact yesterday was:
I’ve been advised that Microsoft is working on an update which will resolve the random shutdown issues with Surface Pro 7’s and Laptop 3’s – this is a known issue and Microsoft are working to fix this.
Windows 2004 has been pushed back for Surface devices and is due to be released this month so this should resolve all known issues
Although this answer refers specifically to the random shutdown issues, the list of issues I asked about included these display issues (640x480 and external display flickering...)

2020-06-05T11:34:11+00:00 Any More updates/Info? I've been trying to connect a couple VR headsets Via usb-c (with multiple DP to usbc comverters, inc 8k 6hz compatable one, and the microsoft one) to my SurfaceBook 3. But they both keep being detected as default 640x480 displays.
