Monitor stuck on displayport with 640x480

Hi all.. Today after I updated my surface pro, my monitor is stuck in a 640x480 resolution. Which is no good with a 49 inch Samsung monitor. If I plug in the HDMI, it works, but, resolution is not that good like it was on the Displayport. Any tips or tricks to get it working again? For some reason it shows 'Flat Panel, 640x480' when using display port, but the samsung drivers when using HDMI. 

I am using the surface dock as well. I tried the displayport of the monitor with other computers and it's working fine. Not with surface. Really need help with this one!

    People have, somehow, been able to get the old intel drivers back installed and everything worked fine. I am not as computer savy as other people but yes, this has been traced down to the intel drivers.

    Sigh. Guess another week is going to pass by without a fix.

    At this rate which is going to last longer? Coronavirus or MS's incompetency in fixing this issue?

    I don't believe there is anything to do with Intel's drivers.

    MS should release a new the Surface Dock's firmware to fix this issue.

    As Dock 2's intro, surface will receive an update later this month to support the Dock, hopefully a new release will cover the fix of the old dock as well.

    Otherwise, MS is just forcing us to get the new dock, which is not a proper way to encourage consumers buying new stuff.
