Surface Book 2 - Fans are noisy / loud after update

now Microsoft Surface Go 2 - Intel 4425Y/4GB/64GB eMMC has been reputed to have poor power consumption up to 4 hours and is not suitable for gaming it is only suitable for a high school student for school as the battery dies after 4 hours and needs recharging. many retailers are aware eg Harvey norman that gives a care package covering the battery and is then up dated with a samsung battery as the battery has a 500 charge limitation and if one is recharging up to 3 times a day, the battery last only for 3 mos :)

now the Microsoft Surface Go 2 - Intel CoreM3/8GB/128GB SSD 4G LTE is suppose to have a new type battery whicj is better I can not at this time give appropriate information Battery life up to 10 hours[1]. Perfect for browsing, shopping, emails, and homework

now they say surface pro 5 lasts up to 13.5 hours but as a gaming machine no

for gaming I would suggest Asus

with the huge let down with Microsoft with the surface I bout 3 mos ago, and how Microsoft tries and help or give money back. they make the jews and sottish spendthrift.

folks if you complain about surface stop trash and buy a zen book suitable for gaming or buy a rog as my grand son has done. I f I had to give a rating for surface it would be a 1 for customer support 1/2

get real as microsoft is great with propaganda their devices are not good.

their batteries are way out of date as other companies are introducing that start at 10000mha while microsoft are only 2000mha and still using the same faulty batteries as they used 7 years ago

There are a lot of issues with your post.

1. This thread is about Surface Book 2 (not Surface Go 2)
2. There is no such thing as a good gaming laptop on battery power.
3. It reads like an add for Surface Pro 7 but you also bash Microsoft.
4. The Surface Book 2 has ~65000 mWh of battery (~6800 mAh)

Unfortunatly surface go 2 has a 26.8 WHr states upto 10 hours, and um 4 hours is upto.

my complaint has been bad tablet and bad customer assistance. I have waited 3mos paid $999 and they have refused to fix, when they tried in the first 2 weeks they gave me a refurbish which last 3 days and since then nothing.

I felt I had a right to complain and warn people about tablets and customer service

I am about to tell them where they can go and use the device as a paper weight.

Dude you keep talking about the Surface GO  2 that is not the machine this thread is about. This is a very real issue we are hoping someone gets to the bottom of and you are obfuscating the discussion by talking about something completely unrelated. I do not have a Surface GO 2 I have a SURFACE BOOK 2 and it was not "sold as a gaming machine" it was sold as a high-end laptop with an option (which I have ) for a model with a discreet GPU. I do not feel ripped off by the hardware or how it was sold to me I feel frustrated that software updates have crippled the device performing a function it is perfectly capable of and used to perform well to my needs.
